Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 August 2026

  • Your presentations remain yours.
  • We treat what you upload as confidential.
  • Your content is never used to train AI models.
  • Analysis and translation both consume credits.
  • Review any translation before you rely on it.

1. The service

These terms govern your use of Agile Translate, an online service that translates PowerPoint presentations between English and Arabic while preserving their layout.

By using the service you accept these terms. If you accept them on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

2. Your account

Authentication is handled by Google Firebase. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the security of the sign-in method you use to access it.

The service is for business use and you must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. If you open an account for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Every member of a team can view and act on the presentations in that team. Credits belong to the account that holds them, so a team member who starts a run uses their own credits.

Team invitation links admit a single person and expire one hour after they are created. Treat them as credentials.

Organisations that need their members to sign in through their own identity provider can arrange this with us.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the presentations you upload and to the translations we return. We claim no ownership of either.

You grant us only the permissions required to operate the service: to store your files, extract and translate their text, render the translated presentation, generate previews, and display the result to you. Those permissions end when you delete the content or close your account. Deletion applies to our systems; it does not reach back into the translation provider's own records, which the Privacy Policy describes.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we use it for no purpose other than providing the service to you.

You confirm that you hold the rights necessary to upload the content you upload. When you upload a font you confirm that its licence permits embedding it in a document.

4. Confidentiality

We treat the presentations you upload as confidential. We do not disclose them to anyone outside the service, and we access them only where it is necessary to operate the service or to resolve an issue you have raised with us.

This sits alongside the Privacy Policy rather than inside it. The Privacy Policy governs personal data; this applies to the business content of your presentations.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to process unlawful material, to infringe the rights of others, or to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

You may not attempt to disrupt the service or circumvent usage limits.

Security research is welcome. If you contact info@theagileworx.com before testing, keep to your own accounts and data, avoid degrading the service for others, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix what you find before disclosing it, we will treat your work as authorised and will not pursue action against you for it.

You may not resell access to the service or use it to build a competing product. Translating presentations for your own clients is an ordinary use of the service and is permitted.

We may suspend an account that breaches these rules. Where circumstances allow we contact the account holder first, and we explain the reason where we are lawfully able to.

6. Plans and credits

The service is metered in credits. Both stages of a run consume them: the analysis that proposes your glossary, and the translation itself.

The free plan includes 50 credits, which covers around 25 slides. The exact number depends on how much text each slide carries.

An estimate is shown before each run. An estimate is not a quotation. The amount charged reflects what the run actually consumes, which depends on the volume of text in your presentation.

If your credits run out during a run, the run stops and only the work already completed is counted against your balance.

Paid plans are not yet available. When they are, the terms covering payment, renewal, and refunds will be published here before they apply.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime commitment. Translation depends on a third-party AI provider, and an outage there can delay or interrupt a run.

We may change or withdraw features. Where we withdraw a feature that customers depend on, we give account holders reasonable notice.

8. Translation quality

Machine translation is not a substitute for a professional human translator. The service applies the terminology you approve and reports what it could not apply, but it can still produce output that is inaccurate or unsuitable for its intended purpose.

Review any translation before relying on it, particularly before publishing it, signing it, or presenting it as an official text. The quality report supports your review. It is not a certification that the output is correct.

9. Liability

The service is provided on an as-is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, including any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or that a translation will be fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or lost or corrupted data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time by writing to info@theagileworx.com.

We may suspend or end access following a material breach of these terms, or where required by law.

You can download your presentations at any time while your account is open. Export anything you wish to keep before closing it. After closure we delete your content in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11. Resolving disagreements

If something goes wrong between us, write to info@theagileworx.com setting out the issue. We will work with you in good faith to resolve it.

These terms are read in line with the laws that apply where we operate.

12. General

Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us regarding the service. They replace any earlier understanding, and statements made elsewhere, including on our website, do not form part of them.

Survival. The sections covering your content, confidentiality, liability, acceptable use, and governing law continue to apply after your account is closed.

Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and that provision applies to the fullest extent permitted.

Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, and will notify account holders if that happens.

Events beyond our control. Neither of us is liable for failure to perform caused by events outside reasonable control, including network or infrastructure failures at a third-party provider.

Notices. We give notice to the email address on your account. You give notice to info@theagileworx.com. A business day means Sunday to Thursday, excluding regional public holidays.

13. Changes to these terms

When these terms change we update the date shown at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects your rights we notify account holders before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
